Florence Pugh and Zach Braff are no longer a couple after three years of dating. She confirmed that they ended their relationship earlier this year.

In the 26-year-old actress’s September cover story for Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed that they “have been trying to do this separation without the world knowing.” She explained that it comes as their relationship has been something “everybody has an opinion on.”

Pugh continued that she and Braff quietly ending their romance would do them “the benefit of not having millions of people telling [them] how happy they are that [they] are not together.”

She added, “So we’ve done that,” before sharing that she “automatically gets a lumpy throat” when she talks about it.

Florence Pugh and Zach Braff repeatedly received critical comments over their age gap during their three-year relationship. She touched on the matter in the interview, noting that she found the experience “cruel and invasive.”

Page Six, in its recent report, quoted the Marvel actress, saying, “Whenever I feel like that line has been crossed in my life, whether it’s paparazzi taking private moments, or moments that aren’t even real, or gossip channels that encourage members of the public to share private moments of famous people walking down the street, I think it’s incredibly wrong.”

It continues, “I don’t think that people, just because they have this job, that every aspect of their life should be watched and written about. We haven’t signed up for a reality TV show.”

Elsewhere in the engagement for her cover story, Florence Pugh also talked about the collaboration she and Zach Braff had before the split.

The magazine noted that the then-couple worked on “A Good Person,” which will hit screens next year.

The “Don’t Worry Darling” star stated that it “genuinely was probably” one of her “most favorite experiences.” She added, “it felt like a very natural and easy thing to do.”

The title is said to be about a young woman, picking up the pieces of her life after experiencing a sudden tragedy. It is later noted that Braff wrote the script with his then-girlfriend in mind.

Zach Braff and Florence Pugh first sparked romance speculations earlier in 2019. But, the first encounter seemingly happened in mid-2018 when he sang her praises on social media, calling her a “movie star,” according to Us Weekly.

The “Midsommar” actress and the “Scrubs” actor were spotted holding hands in April 2019. But, she appeared to have only confirmed the relationship in December of the same year.
