Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk’s marriage is allegedly falling apart that’s why the former refused to return to acting.

In its Aug. 8 issue, Life & Style claimed that Paltrow has been getting offers left and right to star in a slew of movies. But she has been rejecting every single opportunity that comes her way.

After all, Paltrow thinks that she wouldn’t be able to focus on saving her marriage if she’s busy memorizing her script and filming.

A source claimed that the couple’s issues have been circling their marriage for many years.

“They’re like two passing ships in the night. They even lived separately for the first year of their marriage. They’re on very different pages, always have been, and are hanging on by a thread,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Paltrow and Falchuk’s issues first surfaced after they relocated to Malibu. After all, the latter did nothing but go surfing with his friends to the point that he no longer had time for his wife.

“Brad loves surfing in Malibu and hanging with his pals. He’s so friendly and nice, but she’s bossy and antisocial. His friends don’t really like her. It’s become a big problem in their marriage. Montecito is too quiet for Brad; he feels too isolated there and it’s led to many arguments,” the source said.

According to the source, the Iron Man star thought that the move to Malibu would bring her and Falchuk closer to each other. Unfortunately, this isn’t what happened. What’s worse is that the couple is growing further and further apart.

“Drastic changes need to be made before things completely fall apart,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Paltrow and Falchuk’s marriage has been falling apart.

And it doesn’t also make sense for the couple to be having issues because of Falchuk’s love for surfing. Even if he enjoys the activity with his pals, this doesn’t mean that he no longer has time for his family.

It’s not also true that Paltrow is refusing her return to acting for fear that she would have less time for her husband.

As of late, Paltrow and Falchuk are doing fine and they are not on the brink of a split.
