Camilla Parker Bowles praised Kate Middleton during an interview ahead of her 75th birthday. This comes after they had a photoshoot for Country Life magazine, wherein she asked her stepdaughter-in-law to take the photos.

Speaking on ITV, the next Queen Consort shared that the Duchess of Cambridge does her photography “very sort of naturally.” She even called her an “extremely good photographer,” adding that they had “a lot of fun” doing the shoot, according to Express UK.

The Duchess of Cornwall reportedly continued that it was all “relaxed” and “there was not much hair and makeup.” She was also said to have revealed that they did the shoot “in the garden with a lot of laughs.”

The publication consequently quoted Camilla Parker Bowles, saying, “[it] was very kind that [Kate Middleton] came with her camera.” She adds, “it was all very casual.”

Elsewhere in the “candid” interview, which reports said will air on Wednesday, the Duchess of Cornwall also reportedly revealed which photo Prince Charles prefers the most.

After showing the picture, she is said to have stated that the Duchess of Cambridge told her “she would be quite happy” if anything else was needed.

The outlet explained that the photoshoot is for the next Queen Consort’s cover for Country Life magazine’s upcoming issue. It is said to be a “souvenir edition,” wherein she would serve as a guest editor, marking her 75th birthday.

The material will reportedly hit the shelves on July 13, days before the senior royal’s birthday, which is on July 17.

Royal expert Chris Ship shared the teaser for the interview on Twitter earlier on Wednesday. He noted that Camilla Parker Bowles discussed her “guest-editing” activity for the magazine during the engagement.

The post has since received more than 6,700 views and hundreds of likes. Netizens also shared their thoughts about the matter in the comment section.

Most of the commentators appear to have complimented the Duchess of Cornwall’s relationship with the Duchess of Cambridge. Some even asserted that the two royals share “warm” ties with each other, adding that they “get on so well.”

Apart from royal fans and watchers, some experts also recently highlighted the “remarkable” bond between Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles. One of them was Daniela Elser, who shared her thoughts about the two royals following the photoshoot, according to a separate report from Express UK.

Writing for news.com.au, the columnist pointed out that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall “do not have much in common” on paper. She argued, however, that something “has very clearly shifted” in the dynamic in the “last little while.”

Elser asserted that the two future Queen Consorts have, somehow, become a “formidable, very friendly, power couple.” She added that “they seem to really get on like a house on fire.”
