Whoopi Goldberg has been single for 18 years and she allegedly plans to keep it that way.

In its July 11 issue, Globe claimed that Goldberg is no longer interested in dating someone again. After all, she prefers to stay at home and smoke pot.

“Whoopi’s closed for business. She’s had no time for love because she’s got her work and she wouldn’t go on a date now if her life depended on it,” the source said.

In 2016, Goldberg launched her own medical marijuana line with Maya Elizabeth. But the source said that she has since mellowed down.

“Whoopi’s calmed down a lot since her scandal and health ordeals and just wants to go with the flow. She kicked cigarettes long ago but she’s still a firm believer in the benefits of weed and loves her CBD gummies and oils and lotions to relieve all those aches in her feet and hands,” the source said.

However, it is unclear what the tabloid’s point really is. At first, they talked about Goldberg’s dating life and said that the former host has been single for 18 years.

But they also said that she and her partner, Elizabeth started a medical marijuana line in 2016. If this is the case then this means that Goldberg hasn’t been single for 18 years.

Additionally, the tabloid also claimed that all Goldberg does now stays at home and smoke put. But they contradicted their claims by saying that the Sister Act star no longer smokes pot as much as she used to.

The contradicting claims prove that the tabloid is just making up stories about Goldberg. And this isn’t the first time that she was at the center of some dubious claims.

In March, National Enquirer dubbed Goldberg as a boss from hell just like Ellen DeGeneres. A source claimed that Goldberg’s insensitive comments are upsetting all those people that she’s working with.

“She’s been strutting around like a peacock because she knows she’s unfireable at this point. Her co-hosts are fed up with her bossy ways and would like to see her gone though they wouldn’t dare say it to her face,” the source said.

However, no one has come forward to accuse Goldberg of being a boss from hell. So, it’s unlikely for the tabloid’s claims to be accurate.
