Whoopi Goldberg is allegedly ready to bid The View goodbye.

In its Feb. 21 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Goldberg is upset following her suspension on the show. As such, she thinks that it would be best if she just quits the program altogether.

“Whoopi feels like she’s being thrown under the bus. She’s tired of all the drama and is ready to toss in the towel,” the source said.

The Ghost star faced backlash following her comments about the Nazis and the Holocaust not being about race.

When she appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, she pushed forward her stand on the matter.

However, when she returned to The View a day later, she was forced to apologize. She also acknowledged that a lot of people were upset after hearing her comments that’s why she decided to say sorry.

But the execs at The View felt that the host’s apology came a little too late. After all, the damage has already been done and Goldberg didn’t sound sincere.

So, they decided to suspend the host without pay and urged Goldberg to rethink her statements about controversial issues.

Now, the tabloid’s source is saying that Goldberg was humiliated by the network’s decision to suspend her from The View. As such, she’s thinking of humiliating them back by quitting permanently.

“Whoopi was humiliated. Her friends said she thought it made her sound like a child being sent to her room. Now, she’s threatening to quit. Whoopi is tired of being a lightning rod for controversy. Her friends believe she’s ready to walk away,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, Goldberg has not said anything about quitting The View. And if she plans to do this, she will most likely release a statement.

It is obvious that the tabloid is just speculating on what the host would do since it’s true that what happened must have been humiliating for her.

A lot of people also lambasted Goldberg on social media for saying that the Holocaust wasn’t about race. After all, the host-actress is African-American.

But there are also a lot of people that sided with Goldberg on the matter not because what she said was right but because they believe that she became a victim of canceled culture in the United States.
