Prince Charles was allegedly the one who ordered a law firm to keep the details of their bullying investigations private.

According to a source for Globe, Prince Charles didn’t want to face another blow to the British monarchy. So, he convinced Queen Elizabeth to keep the information that they got a secret from the public.

The insider also claimed that the only reason why Prince Charles wanted to keep the investigation a secret is that it will show the Duchess of Sussex in a negative light.

“If Meghan did nothing wrong, there would be no problem releasing what went on. But covering up the findings points to the conclusion staffers told some hair-raising horror stories painting Meghan as the wicked witch,” the source said.

Last year, the palace released a statement saying that they will launch an investigation into the bullying allegations against the Suits alum. They also said that current and former palace staffers would be asked to participate.

“The royal household had a dignity at work policy in place for a number of years and does not, and will not, tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace,” the statement read.

However, Markle’s lawyer immediately came to her defense by explaining what bullying means.

“What bullying actually means is improperly using power repeatedly and deliberately to hurt someone physically or emotionally. The Duchess of Sussex absolutely denies ever doing that. Knowing her as I do, I can’t believe she would do that,” the source said.

While it is true that the results of the bullying investigation are being kept private, it’s not true that Prince Charles was the one who ordered this. After all, at least royal experts revealed that it was the queen who came up with the decision.

During her interview with Entertainment Tonight, royal author Katie Nicholl said that the queen wanted to protect the palace staffers and Markle. For the latter, the monarch didn’t allegedly want the Duchess of Sussex to see the negative things said about her by her former staff members.

Nicholl added that the royal family could no longer deal with another scandal because the past couple of years has been too much for everyone, especially Her Majesty.

Prior to the bullying allegations, Markle and Prince Harry were also involved in a slew of other issues and some still haven’t been resolved today.
