While a tabloid insists that Julia Roberts is about to sell her home and moving out of Los Angeles, the story seems to be baseless.

An outlet has recently claimed that the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has led to financial problems for several A-listers in Hollywood. The article has included “The Pretty Woman” star’s name also on this list.

The article asserts that Roberts has to slim down her real estate portfolio due to her alleged financial troubles. The outlet further says that the actress sold her house in Malibu immediately after selling her Hawaii mansion and a penthouse in NYC.

An anonymous insider stated that the actress is downsizing. The same dubious source added that she is irritated with the “madness in Hollywood” and plans to lead a more sober life at her modest home in San Francisco.

The "Runaway Bride” star and her husband Danny Moder have allegedly had to reduce their spending according to the tipster. The couple seems to be overburdened with their mortgage payments on different properties, as well as, the expenses of raising their children and shelling out publicist and manager fees.

While Roberts did sell her properties in Malibu, Hawaii, and New York, the couple is not working possibly because of the COVID-19 outbreak. However, although the actress sold her home in Malibu in March this year, she sold her other two properties in 2015 and 2016.

It also indicates that the story of her selling Malibu home does not follow the sale of the other two properties. Also, the other two sales were made much before the pandemic hit the globe.

While the article also maintains that Julia Roberts is selling her Los Angeles home to relocate to San Francisco, it is not quite correct either. After all, Observer reports that she is still the owner of a couple of other houses in Malibu alone. One of these houses is allegedly more luxurious and spacious than the property she has disposed of.

Plus, her San Francisco home is valued at a higher price as compared to the Malibu house she recently sold. Gossip Cop feels that these changes in her portfolio do not seem to be motivated due to a shortage of funds.

In other news, this Hollywood star knows the art of looking young always. It was proved recently when the 52-year-old actress was seen in a picture next to her image from her movie “Pretty Woman” that released in 1990.

Julia Roberts was just 23-year-old when the film released, Daily Mail reports. This wonderful smash-up picture was created by Ard Gelinck who has created a niche for himself for matching recent and older images of Hollywood stars.
