Queen Elizabeth has allegedly been in talks with her doctors following her recent health scares in October and November.

In its Jan. 3 issue, Woman UK claimed that the queen doesn’t want to ever abdicate. And the only time she would give up her throne is when she is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or becomes incapacitated.

But with her Platinum Jubilee coming up, the queen’s doctors have allegedly been asking her to consider her resignation. And the queen is starting to believe that this is the perfect time for her to gracefully exit and retire.

However, another source said that the queen’s Platinum Jubilee is such an important milestone. After all, she’s the only monarch in the history of the British monarchy to ever reach this point.

So, it would make more sense for her to not abdicate or resign and to only consider these options seriously after the event.

Her Majesty doesn’t also have anything to worry about because she can rely on Prince Charles and Prince William to take over and help her out.

Some royal fans are saying that it’s better for the queen to see how her son and grandson would rule and give them advice along the way instead of only giving up the throne after she passes away.

However, the decision will ultimately depend on the queen. After all, she promised to stay loyal and to serve The Crown until her dying breath during her coronation service decades ago.

Meanwhile, the queen also made headlines this week amid reports that she won’t be celebrating the holidays with all her loved ones and relatives.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t return to the United Kingdom this year. And it was just confirmed that Princess Anne’s husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence tested positive for COVID-19, according to People.

Even though Princess Anne has not tested positive for the deadly virus, she has most likely come into close contact with her husband. As a result, she and Laurence might not make it to Windsor Castle for the royal family’s Christmas celebrate this year.

If this is the case, Princess Anne’s children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall might also opt out of the celebrations. So, only the key senior working royals would be there.

As of late, it’s still unclear whether the queen will push through with the royal family’s usual Christmas celebration because this is their first without Prince Philip.
