Queen Elizabeth is healthy and well now!

On Wednesday, a beaming Queen Elizabeth was photographed at Windsor Castle when she presented concert organist Thomas Trotter with the Queen’s Medal for Music.

Photos uploaded by Express show the queen wearing a purple ensemble that she paired with her pearl earrings and necklace.

The queen is smiling from ear to ear while staring at Trotter, who is looking at the medal that was awarded to him.

Her Majesty’s sighting is a big deal for royal fans since she recently went through a series of health issues.

In October, a palace spokesperson announced that the queen won’t be able to attend an important royal engagement because of an undisclosed illness that was not related to COVID-19.

A day later, the spokesperson confirmed that the queen spent hours at the hospital and her doctor advised her to continue resting when she gets back home.

This resulted in the queen not attending another engagement in Glasgow.

Weeks later, the queen seemed to be doing well and her spokesperson confirmed that she will make an appearance at Remembrance Sunday. However, a day before the event, she reportedly sprained her back.

Last month, the queen was also photographed attending the christening of her two great-grandsons, August and Lucas at Windsor Castle. For the outing, the monarch donned an all-green ensemble.

Eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that the queen lost a considerable amount of weight during her outing. And recent photos of Her Majesty published today show that she gained some of the weight back.

The queen also looks more rested in today’s photo compared to her photos from weeks ago at her great-grandsons’ christening.

Prior to today’s royal engagement, the queen attended a virtual meeting with Abdulkadir Ahmed Kheyr Abdi while the monarch is at Buckingham Palace.

According to Sky News, the queen wore an orange dress, a pearl necklace, and one of Queen Victoria’s diamond brooches for the meeting.

The queen is still reportedly resting on her doctors’ orders and she’s only allowed to carry out light duties for the time being.

It is unlikely for the queen to make public appearances anytime soon but royal fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of the monarch on Dec. 25 when she and her relatives head to church together.

However, the rising number of Omicron cases in the United Kingdom might prevent the royal family from making a public appearance on the said date.
