Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex’s daughter, Lady Louise is allegedly contemplating using her HRH title.

In its Nov. 15 issue, New Idea claimed that Lady Louise is entitled to an HRH title for the simple reason that she’s the daughter of Queen Elizabeth’s son.

But after her birth, Prince Edward and Sophie decided to not give their daughter her HRH title. The royal couple also did the same thing after their son, James, Viscount Severn.

A source claimed that Lady Louise could be contemplating using her HRH title following the queen’s health scare. After all, using it means that she can help the queen with her royal duties, and she can also be considered as a senior working royal.

The source also alleged that the queen is convincing her granddaughter to use her HRH title. And since Lady Louise is the queen’s favorite grandchild, it’s possible that she won’t say no to her grandmother.

However, the tabloid’s claims are in stark contrast to what Sophie said during last year’s interview. At the time, she said that Lady Louise and James are aware that they are entitled to their HRH titles. But it’s unlikely for the siblings to use them.

Sophie also said that based on how well she knows her children, it seems that Lady Louise and James would one day get a job and get paid for it.

If Sophie’s predictions are correct, this means that Lady Louise and James will follow in their cousins’ footsteps. Princess Anne’s children, Zara Tindall and Peter Philips have jobs and they are also earning their own money.

The brother and sister didn’t also use their HRH titles when they turned 18. And Princess Anne didn’t give it to them after they were born.

Lady Louise can decide her own fate now that she’s already 18 years old. But there’s really no pressure because she won’t be working until a couple more years, according to Express.

As such, the tabloid’s claims about the queen convincing Lady Louise to use her HRH title are not true. But it’s true that Lady Louise could be contemplating the possibility of eventually using the royal title.

However, her decision may also be influenced by what her parents would advise her to do. And it seems Prince Edward and Sophie prefer that their children do not use their HRH titles.
