Ellen DeGeneres is still, allegedly, a mean girl at work even though she previously told her critics and supporters that she’s a work in progress and wants to change for the better.

In its Nov. 1 issue, Us Weekly claimed that DeGeneres has not changed at all since she was accused of being a mean girl and a bully.

“Ellen is horrible onset. She’s not publicly embarrassing staff anymore, but she’s cutting people off in hallways and snapping, ‘Watch it!’ When she’s around, everyone knows to steer clear,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that DeGeneres continues to fire her staff on the Ellen Show for even the smallest mistakes. But this time around, she’s making sure that what she’s doing behind closed doors won’t be exposed.

“There was a short time when Ellen was acting nice after the allegations first came out. But now she’s worse than ever,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, it doesn’t make sense for DeGeneres to continue firing her staff when Ellen Show will just be on the air for one final season.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just rehashing an old story about the comedian because she has not been making headlines in recent weeks.

Before the pandemic, DeGeneres was accused of being a mean girl and a bully. And several of her former staff came forward to criticize the comedian and some of the producers on the show.

But following an investigation, the producers were the only ones that were fired from Ellen Show. DeGeneres continued hosting the program even during the pandemic.

And when she finally returned to the studio, it didn’t take long before Portia de Rossi’s wife announced that she will be leaving Ellen Show after the current season.

“I truly have felt like next season was the right time. The truth is, I always trust my instincts. My instinct told me it’s time. Two years ago, I signed a deal for three more years and I always knew in my heart that season 19 would be my last,” DeGeneres said.

The funny woman did not say whether her decision had to do with the criticisms that she received. But the end of Ellen Show also seemed very timely.

After all, DeGeneres decided to continue hosting the program for two more seasons to not make it seem as though she quit due to the bullying allegations that she faced.
