Gwyneth Paltrow has allegedly been upsetting her neighbors in Montecito because she keeps renovating her properties.

In its July 5 issue, National Enquirer claimed that the Goop owner bought two adjoining properties in the tony California town years ago.

Now, Paltrow is renovating the properties. And there are speculations that she wants to create a connection between them so she could have her own personal Xanadu by the sea.

Paltrow has allegedly planned on building a huge property for herself for years. However, it only materialized after other A-listers moved into the neighborhood.

Now, the actress is allegedly sending her workers into overdrive because she wants them to finish the renovations as soon as possible.

“She wants the biggest and the best, the fanciest and most environmentally friendly mega-mansion ever built. And it’s made her persona non grata among the older and more conservative residents – and even more of the newer ones,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Paltrow has been nit-picking on everything from the studs to the insulation. She’s also very particular when it comes to the size of her windows, as well as how much light should come into the interior.

“She’s driving the workers crazy with her over-the-top ideas and constant changes. She’s determined to lord over everyone else and create a more beautiful home than Harry and Meghan’s, one that embodies the spirit of the earth and her greatness,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Paltrow wants to outdo Hollywood celebrity house-flipper Ellen DeGeneres and become just like her.

Paltrow wants to buy houses, have them renovated, and then sell them at a much higher price. This way, she can earn more money since her lifestyle blog is not doing so well.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Paltrow isn’t trying to flip houses. And there’s also no proof that she’s been upsetting her neighbors because of the endless renovations she’s having.

It isn’t also true that she’s demanding too much from her workers.

And it’s even more untrue that her lifestyle brand is suffering.

In fact, Paltrow has been making headlines because of the actress’s most controversial Goop moments.

For instance, she sold an infamous jade egg on a small bag and claimed that it can improve hormonal imbalances and feminine energy. The bag sold for $66.

Paltrow also previously sold her pricey healing stickers that were made from the same conductive carbon metal NASA uses to make spacesuits.
