Britney Spears is still in the midst of fighting her 13-year-old conservatorship, which reportedly limits her in doing certain things – such as getting pregnant and married. But, one tabloid recently claimed that the singer secretly tied the knot with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

In June 2021, Spears expressed her desire to get out of her controversial conservatorship. She told the judge the extent of it, pointing out that it had hugely impacted her personal life. The singer revealed she wanted to get married and have a baby, but she has IUD, which prevents her from getting pregnant.

Now, the latest edition of OK! claimed that Spears may have gotten secretly married to Asghari during their recent vacation in Hawaii. The outlet asserted that the singer was the one who proposed to her boyfriend, which may imply that her conservatorship is coming to an end.

“She asked Sam if he was serious about spending the rest of their lives together. He said yes, and the conversation went from there,” the source from the tabloid said.

The unnamed insider added that Asghari was always there for Spears has been a “constant source of support” ever since they’ve got into a relationship in 2016. Reportedly, the singer proposed to him while they were celebrating their fifth anniversary.

“Britney’s said her piece. Now she’s eager to move on and begin a new life with Sam — and have a baby. She thinks Sam will be a wonderful husband because he’s already a very loving and caring boyfriend, and she knows he’ll be a great dad,” the insider concluded.

The major question now is whether or not the couple got married on their getaway in Hawaii. While it is true that the two went on a vacation there, TMZ already confirmed they hadn’t gotten engaged during the trip. Thus, the claim that they tied the knot seems questionable.

Even though the couple expressed their desire to take their relationship to the next level, Spears is still in a complicated situation right now. As opposed to the tabloid’s claim that her conservatorship is coming to an end, recent reports indicate the battle is still far from over.

Spears is currently hiring a lawyer to help her with the process. This comes after her mother petitioned the court to allow her daughter to choose her own attorney not associated with the conservators. Since the battle is still ongoing, it’s unlikely the singer will focus her attention on other things.
