Carrie Underwood will be headlining a series of shows in Las Vegas starting December 1. And there are rumors that she will be raking in $500,000 per night.

In its July 12 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Underwood is looking forward to the day when she can perform live for her fans again. However, her husband, Mike Fisher, is feeling the exact opposite.

After all, the couple formed a much closer bond while they were in quarantine. But now that things are starting to get back to normal, Fisher is allegedly worried that his wife’s shows will drive them apart.

A source for the tabloid also claimed that Fisher is not thrilled knowing that Underwood won’t be home on most nights with their children.

“They’ve learned the hard way they can’t risk turning their backs on their marriage for even a day. That’s why Mike was fearing her going back on the road,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Fisher turned down offers to host the NFL because he didn’t want to be away from his wife and kids. So, he was allegedly shocked to learn that Underwood accepted an offer to perform in Las Vegas.

“For too many years, they were headed in opposite directions. They were halfway across the country from each other, and it really put a strain on their marriage. Settling down in Las Vegas seemed like the best compromise,” the source said.

The insider added that Underwood is convincing her husband to buy a house in Las Vegas so that they don’t need to go back and forth from one city to the next.

However, an unnamed friend close to Fisher believes that he is harboring some reservations about the big move.

Even though Fisher is an adventurous guy, Underwood banned him from having too much fun in the city. In fact, he’s not also allowed to drink too much with his fellow athlete pals when they are there to visit him.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It is important to note that Underwood was already in the business when she met Fisher. So, it’s unlikely for the latter to not be supportive of what his wife wants to do.

There’s also no proof that Underwood is restricting her husband from having fun in Sin City.
