Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, allegedly, feel threatened by Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Earthshot Prize.

In its Jan. 4 issue, Life & Style claimed that Prince William and Middleton’s decision to tap big celebrities to their upcoming awards show could affect their relationship with Prince Harry and Markle again.

A source said that Prince Harry and Markle couldn’t help but question the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s motives especially since they just signed multi-year deals with Netflix and Spotify.

“It’s almost as though William and Kate want to start some kind of royal TV war,” the source said.

The insider also said that the Cambridges already fired the first shot when they tapped Sir David Attenborough, Shakira, and Cate Blanchett as judges for the Earthshot Prize.

As of late, the royal couple hasn’t expressed any desire to have the awards show televised. But if they do, it could pose more threat to Prince Harry and Markle.

After all, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known for teaming up with A-listers.

The insider also said that the timing of Prince William and Middleton’s Earthshot Prize news is also very odd because they know that the Sussexes’ first Netflix project is just right around the corner.

According to the source, this seems like a competitive move from Prince William and Middleton’s end, so the Sussexes couldn’t help but feel threatened.

There are also predictions that celebrities might also find themselves choosing between Prince William and Prince Harry’s projects, which will complicate things even more.

Meanwhile, the tabloid’s claims came just days after it was revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship has improved.

According to royal correspondent Roya Nikkah, Prince William and Prince Harry made a truce just before Christmas.

She also said that the siblings most certainly exchanged gifts to commemorate the occasion.

According to the royal correspondent, Prince William and Prince Harry are very keen to start and repair their relationship which was badly damaged over the years.

However, things are still not great between the siblings because repairing their problems will take time.

In related news, Markle’s first Christmas gift for Prince William in 2017 was reportedly a huge hit.

In the book Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said that Markle wanted to impress the royal family so she decided to give Prince William a gag gift.

The Suits alum, reportedly, gave her brother-in-law a spoon with the word “cereal killer” embossed on it.
