Ryan Reynolds is one of those rare celebrities who knows the pulse of his fans and followers. The 44-year-old actor recently shared his version of Christmas plans and how they have changed, which was relatable to his fans.

The Deadpool star took his social media to reveal that his children won't be able to meet their grandparents, uncles, aunts, and friends this Christmas. He further added that it feels worse that they are not able to celebrate like other years.

However, he encouraged others by noting that there are many other people who would do the same this year. While Reynolds has planned to maintain social media and celebrate in a low-key way, the Marvel star also ensured that others are also staying indoors and safe to stop spreading the growing COVID-19 pandemic.

Reynolds shares three daughters with his wife, Blake Lively, named Betty, who is one-year-old, James, who is 6-year-old, and Inez is four-year-old. In an interview with ET, the actor reflected on spending time with his family during the quarantine.

The actor was promoting his upcoming animated movie, The Croods: A New Age, and he noted that his youngest daughter is growing up in front of him as he is able to spend more time at home. He further said that he loves spending time with the little bundle of joy.

When the interviewer asked about the size of his family in real life, and if Reynolds would like to grow in the future, the actor confirmed that he believes it’s a pretty good size of the pack at the moment. The actor also reflected on the ongoing pandemic and said that it had been a "weird" time. The actor admitted that it seemed the year had changed him a lot and that too in a serious way.

"I have really appreciated the time that I have been able to spend with my family while still recognizing the world is a crazy place right now, and it is very challenging for a lot of people,” he noted. However, the actor continues to be a doting father to his children as he is spending quality time with them.

On the other hand, the actor also encouraged people to watch the sequel of his 2013's animated comedy film about a prehistoric family. The movie marks the return of Nicolas Cage as Grug and Emma Stone as Eep while Reynolds plays Guy's character.
