Is it true that Julia Roberts wants to say goodbye to Hollywood and follow the footsteps of the famous environmental activist Erin Brockovich? A magazine claimed so in a report published around six months ago.

Fans will remember Roberts acting in a biographical legal film with the same name in 2000 that also fetched her the Oscar Award for the Best Actress. The film also helped her to bag many other prestigious awards such as the BAFTA, the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Award.

A tabloid reported in June this year that the actress is fed up with her acting career in Hollywood and wants to pursue an alternate career for herself in San Francisco. It seems she wanted to be like Erin Brockovich, who she portrayed in the 2000 flick.

The publication insisted that Roberts coaxed her cinematographer husband Danny Moder and their three children to relocate to San Francisco so that they could make a new beginning. It alleged that she wanted to bring improvement in her family life.

Roberts has indeed been actively involved in causes like equal rights for all people, COVID-19 education, and child poverty. The tabloid also referred to the actress letting Dr. Anthony Fauci take over her Instagram handle for a day. The publication added the actress had revealed how fed up she was with Hollywood in that interview.

However, the report that Julia Roberts was disgusted with acting and want to shift to San Francisco was absolutely false, according to Gossip Cop. The report was published six months ago, and it is quite obvious that the actress did not say goodbye to acting.

She also did not reveal her plan to follow the footsteps of Erin Brockovich. So, what if she is vocal about COVID-19 education? Many celebrities, including Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian, are engaged in humanitarian work too. That does not mean they have quit their careers.

It is ridiculous that just because Roberts acted in the biological film means she is all set to follow an alternate career. Another proof that Roberts is still pursuing her acting career is her new film with Denzel Washington, according to Deadline.

The Pretty Woman actress is also scheduled to act in a new Apple series titled The Last Thing He Told Me. She will also be a producer of this show that is based on a new novel penned by Laura Dave.

The series revolves around a woman portrayed by Julia Roberts who bonds with her teenage stepdaughter and tries to find the reality behind the disappearance of her husband.
