The Undoing has been a major milestone in the acting career of both Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. However, their co-star Matilda De Angelis revealed why she will always remember Kidman’s help during the shooting.

De Angelis had to strip for several scenes, but The Big Little Lies actress and the Notting Hill actor went out of their ways to ensure that she felt comfortable in those scenes of the HBO series.

The series follows the life of an affluent couple played by Grant and Kidman, whose life is turned upside down after a woman was found killed. Matilda De Angelis plays the role of the victim in this film. The show was full of suspense till the last episode. 

It was the Italian actress’s debut role in American television, and she never regretted her decision though she had to expose herself in some of the scenes.

The 25-year-old actress mentioned that she was quite comfortable while enacting her role, according to The Times. She was speaking to this British publication when she shared her experience.

The actress can never forget the older woman’s kindness and was confident of Kidman protecting her on the sets. After all, the Eyes Wide Shut actress has done many nude scenes in the past and was a great help to the younger actress. 

She advised Matilda De Angelis to be herself and visualize as if she was fully dressed even when she was required to unclothe for her role. The rising actress also had complete faith in her other co-actor, Grant, for their intimate scenes. 

The actor urged her to tell him if she found any scene was “excessive or inappropriate.” Her co-star’s attitude let her be at complete ease, and she could portray her role without any kind of discomfort. 

She also thanked her director Susanne Bier for making her feel so comfortable even while she had to perform those intimate scenes. She felt safe with her director as she could trust Bier entirely during the shoot. 

The actress said that the director understood her very well. Bier would know what would be best for her and the character she was portraying. Further, she felt that there was no reason to worry as the director was a woman, too, according to Fox News. Nicole Kidman’s 

Meanwhile, Kidman posted an adorable picture of herself and veteran actress Meryl Streep on her Instagram handle. She mentioned that was how they relaxed after a long day’s work on the set of The Prom

The Prom is an American musical comedy and has been directed by Ryan Murphy. Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep appear in two of the lead roles in this film, first released in theaters on Dec. 4, 2020. It was then streamed on Netflix on Dec.11, 2020.
