This Christmas will mark Riley Keough's first holiday without her brother Benjamin. The 27-year-old had committed suicide with a gunshot a couple of months ago in Calabasas, California. The grandson of the late Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley's death has significantly impacted the family.

Recently, the 31-year-old actress mourned her brother's death on social media and expressed her misery, which is increasing during the Christmas holiday. She addressed Benjamin as her baby brother and best friend.

She admitted in the emotional post that she couldn't describe her pain in words. Keough further acknowledged others who have lost someone close or their loved ones this year and how they are going to celebrate the upcoming Christmas without them.

She also noted that it is a beautiful thought that people who are not around physically are also receiving our love through prayers. The actress shared a picture of her brother posing with her as she remembered her late sibling in the caption.

Since the actress posted this message on Instagram, many users in the comments shared their stories. One of the users revealed that even her baby brother committed suicide a couple of months back amid the ongoing pandemic, and it is still difficult for her to cope without him.

Benjamin's mother, Lisa Marie Presley, was beyond devastated and absolutely heartbroken after the news broke for the first time in July. However, the You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet star kept strong for her children, according to her representative, Roger Widynowski.

One year before, the 52-year-old singer shared a family picture on Twitter. She captioned the photo as "Mama Lion with cubs" at that time in which 12-year-old twins Riley and Benjamin could be seen hugging each other. However, Benjamin is the only one in the picture, not smiling.

Marie Presley shares her daughter Riley with her former husband, Danny Keough, while she shares her twin daughters, Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood.

According to the reports, Benjamin had a close bond with her mother, and they both had similar tattoos. In fact, they got tattoos on the same day in 2009 to celebrate Mother’s Day. A fan asked Marie Presley on Twitter back in 2012 about the tattoo. The fan wondered if it is made for a religious reason or it is a rumor, to which the singer replied that it is a "Celtic eternity knot.
