Since the news broke of The Office leaving Netflix, fans have been trying their best to make it stay. A couple of days ago, Peacock, NBC Universal’s streaming service, confirmed that they would stream one of the most popular sitcoms, The Office, from January 1 onwards.

The streaming platform change didn't go well with the fans, and they approached Craig Robinson for help. The 49-year-old actor portrayed Darryl Philbin's character on the NBC's show, and he recently appeared on the Late Night With Seth Meyers.

The actor revealed that many fans are reaching out to him following the transition news. Robinson said that many netizens are messaging him over social media and asking him to make the transition stop. He further stated that he would love to answer them back but it has started to make people think he has such power.

In fact, the actor jokingly said that he has nothing to do with the show's transition, and Peacock is the one owning the streaming rights. The actor noted that the sitcom's final episode was released seven years ago, it is still loved by the fans.

The online streaming platform has promised the fans that the first two seasons of The Office will be available for free. However, for other remaining seasons, viewers have to buy a paid subscription. Many people believe that because of the sitcom, the platform is going to gain more subscribers.

The actor also reflected on his working experience on the show and said that it was a dream for him to work on such deadpan humor. Robinson admitted watching the original version of The Office once while he was traveling. He said that he has no clue how he came across the show, but he loved it.

"I saw a picture of David Brent (Ricky Gervais) on the side of a 7-Eleven. I was like ‘Oh!,’ and I figured out how to watch it. And then fell in love with the show… It was serendipitous for my life,” the actor added. Moreover, the actor said that he is a huge fan of the host and praised him for working on Saturday Night Live's second-to-second brilliance.

The comedian and actor praised the 46-year-old host and said that people underestimate him for his work. He said that he got some amazing talent because of which he can get into any kind of voice.
