Prince William and Prince Harry’s alleged rift won’t end anytime soon.

According to In Touch Weekly, it has been 49 days since the royal siblings last spoke to each other.

A source told the tabloid that there were hopes for reconciliation in March when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to London but no such thing happened.

“William and Harry avoided each other and said very little to each other when they were in the same room,” the source said.

The royal siblings’ respective wives were accused of making things worse for Prince William and Prince Harry. When Kate Middleton and Markle saw each other at Westminster Abbey in March, the latter allegedly greeted the Duchess of Cambridge. However, it seems that Middleton ignored her sister-in-law.

According to the insider, Prince Harry turned red at the sight of his wife being ignored by the future queen. Following the incident, the Duke of Sussex refused to talk to his older brother.

However, there are some sources that have been saying that Prince William and Prince Harry are slowly patching things up. In February, Entertainment Tonight said that royal siblings are no a better footing. A source told the publication that Prince William and Prince Harry don’t also hate each other contrary to rumors.

Around the same time, another source told The Sunday Times and Express that Prince Charles and Prince William already reached out to Prince Harry following his bombshell exit. The three royals also had the opportunity to talk after Megxit when Queen Elizabeth called for a meeting.

Prince William has not directly responded to the rumors that he and Prince Harry have been feuding. But the Duke of Sussex gave a cryptic response when asked about his relationship with the future king in October.

In an ITV documentary, Prince Harry admitted that he hasn’t been talking to his brother as frequently as he used to. He also suggested that they don’t always see eye to eye.

However, Markle’s husband also stressed the fact that he loves Prince William. And as brothers, they will always have each other’s backs.

Prince William and Prince Harry were very close as they were growing up. But ever now and then, the royal siblings also got into arguments.

For instance, Prince Harry previously reacted to Prince William’s comment about not wanting to become king. He said that he would gladly take the role if he doesn’t want it.
