While speaking to reporters about taking care of senior citizens of the country, Fox News and others asked what exactly did Trump knew that gave him so much confidence that the life-threatening outbreak began in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Without divulging more details, the president said, "Yes, I have." Furthermore, he said the WHO should be ashamed of itself for acting as the public relations agency for China.

Aside from that, Trump speculated about whether or not China knew about the virus sooner than it has caused and refrained from revealing details about the outbreak. He said it looks like China trying to be transparent with them, but their intention will be revealed soon.

Regardless of whether China made a mistake or it started as a mistake and then made another one, or someone deliberately did something, Trump says the pandemic has been a terrible thing that happened. Intelligence officials said Thursday that they are investigating whether the virus as a result of an accident at the Wuhan lab, which is a contradiction from the widely accepted concept that it came from a wet market in the city.

The Intelligence Community continues to support the United States policymakers, as well as those working to eliminate the COVID-19 virus, which came from China. Moreover, the Intelligence Community approves the widely spread scientific theory that suggests coronavirus was neither genetically modified nor made by a man, the office of acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell stated in a statement.

Sticking to what it usually does in all crises, Grenell said the Community’s experts have responded by increasing resources and coming up with vital intelligence on things concerning America's national security. The IC will monitor new shreds of information and intelligence in a bid to figure out whether the outbreak started due to humans coming in contact with infected animals or if it was due to an accident that took place in a Wuhan-based laboratory, he explained.

United States officials have rejected the possibility that China created the virus to use it as a bioweapon. Some officials speculate the pathogen may have found its way outside the lab while China was still trying to identify and combat the virus either using the same or even greater capabilities than America. China, on the other hand, has rejected U.S. requests to give inspectors access to the lab. While referring to China's show of defiance, Trump said the world is suffering greatly.
