Nicole Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban, has had no qualms in the past to discuss his journey towards sobriety. Yet, the actress was tensed that the country music star might get addicted to cocaine once again after spending time in Las Vegas. At least, that is what a tabloid insisted last year.

Last year, a report claimed that Kidman was worried because her husband was getting ready for his Las Vegas residency. She felt her husband would not be able to control the temptation and could start abusing drugs all over again. After all, Urban had relapsed previously and it could happen again, according to the publication.

A source claimed that the Big Little Lies star requested her husband to refuse the residency office, but Urban thought she was unreasonable. Their disagreement did not end here as Urban felt Kidman did not have any trust left in him, the insider continued.

Meanwhile, the actress was, allegedly, convinced that since Keith Urban has been addicted once, it could happen again. So, it would hardly be a surprise if the Eyes Wide Shut actress decided to accompany the country crooner in every show and concert so that she could keep a tab on him, the source contended.

However, the premise of the piece seems to be ridiculous, Gossip Cop claims. The publication insisted that they had gotten in touch with the actress's spokesperson who told them that the story was made up.

As mentioned before, Urban has always been honest about his struggles with sobriety. He relapsed in 2006 and yet has been clean since then. The singer has always praised his wife for supporting him through thick and thin, which has helped him to be sober (via Rolling Stone).

As such, the very idea that Nicole Kidman is stressed over Keith Urban’s sobriety was ridiculous. Also, there have been constant reports alleging how their marriage is in trouble.

In other news, the superbly talented actress has delighted her fans with her fantastic performance in The Undoing, a miniseries being aired on HBO. Now Kidman had mentioned that there had been a “husband and wife” outward behavior as far as she and Hugh Grant were concerned even before they appeared as an onscreen couple in this gripping thriller.

The actress revealed in a recent show that she and Grant had known each other for over three decades now. The actress mentioned that it was appropriate for long-time pals like them to play an on-screen couple who are being shown to have been married for 10 years.

Nicole Kidman has worked with Hugh Grant for the first time in this miniseries. She jested that although her co-actor was superbly talented, he is known for “not wanting to work,” Daily Mail reports.
