HBO’s The Undoing has had a superb start and Ismael Cruz Cordova is playing an important role alongside Nicole Kidman. Cordova has now opened up about why he was ‘in awe’ of Kidman while acting with her.

The miniseries has all the ingredients of becoming a successful thriller. One actor who cannot stop praising Kidman is Cordova, who spoke about the energy one gets while working with the incredibly talented actress. 

The 33-year-old screen and stage actor had no qualms about accepting that he was in complete awe of the actress while delivering his lines during the series's filming. The Puerto Rican actor was speaking to The Daily Telegraph when he said so. 

Cordova further said that when one has a good co-actor, the performance becomes even better and fuller (via Daily Mail). He acknowledged that Kidman’s acting skills led him to come up with a better performance. 

The affection seems to be mutual as the Eyes Wide Shut actress also praised him. Kidman said that Cordova had “compelling eyes” and added that his portrayal of the role was such that the audience would not easily read his character.

Based on a novel called You Should Have Known, which was published in 2014, the limited miniseries has Kidman and Hugh Grant in the lead roles. Kidman is working once again with David E. Kelley, who was also the creator of the series Big Little Lies. 

Cordova is portraying the character of Fernando Alves in the series. He is the spouse of the mistress of Grant’s character and has a confrontation with Kidman’s character on screen. 

The limited TV series has six episodes in total and also has other actors, including Edgar Ramirez, Noah Jupe, Lily Rabe, and Donald Sutherland. The series is being liked a lot by the audiences. An excellent creative team, a great cast, and an intriguing storyline have led to a promising start. 

The series is being aired on HBO and is a psychological thriller, which has been created by David E. Kelley. Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman play the characters of an affluent couple living in Manhattan called the Frasers. The couple has a young son and seems to be a happy family until a murder changes everything in their lives. 

While the pilot episode starts at a slow pace initially, it soon picks up speed. The first episode has the same title as that of the series and looks like an intriguing psychological thriller. Both Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant have come up with superb performances, Indian Express reports.
