Meghan Markle is allegedly planning to renew her vows with Prince Harry almost two years after they tied the knot.

According to Heat, the royal couple is planning an intimate and barefoot ceremony in Los Angeles that will be attended by their A-list friends.

A source told the tabloid that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will invite George and Amal Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey, and more to their renewal of vows. The A-listers are also expected to attend the royal couple’s giant beach reception.

“This will symbolize a brand-new start for them both practically and spiritually. Of course, it risks upsetting the royals, but this fresh start is important to both of them,” the source said.

The insider went on to say that Prince Harry and Markle’s second wedding will most likely widen the rift between Archie’s dad and the royal family. However, the unnamed source failed to explain why.

It seems unlikely for Prince Harry and Markle’s second wedding to upset the royal family since the have already been married for almost two years. And if the renewal of vows will push through, the Sussexes will most likely invite the royal family to the gathering.

According to the source, there’s another reason why Prince Harry and Markle have decided to renew their vows. The insider claimed that tying the knot on US soil could help with Prince Harry’s visa status.

Getting married in the United States could allegedly give the Duke of Sussex more right to be in the country for a long period of time.

But according to the rumor-debunking site, Gossip Cop, the claims made by the tabloid seem dubious. After all, the renewal of vows is not regarded as an official wedding ceremony. Rather, it’s an informal one.

As such, Prince Harry and Markle renewing their vows in the United States can’t affect the former’s visa status in any way.

It is also unlikely for the royal couple to be planning their renewal of vows since they’ve only been married for less than two years.

At present, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also busy helping out amid the coronavirus pandemic. As such, it is unlikely for them to be thinking about marriage currently in their relationship.

What Prince Harry and Markle could be planning is the first birthday of their son, Archie, on May 6.
