It seems there is no more waiting for Miley Cyrus' fans as the pop star revealed the release date of her upcoming album. The 27-year-old singer and songwriter have officially announced on Oct. 22 that her seventh studio album will release on Nov. 27.

A couple of months back, the Hannah Montana fame released a single Midnight Sky, during the summer, and now, she will release her most-awaited album called Plastic Hearts. The cover of the album in black and pink has been captured by legendary photographer Mick Rock.

The 72-year-old rock and roll photographer has also captured legends such as Debbie Harry and David Bowie. However, the album will include twelve original tracks along with live covers performed by rock bands Blondie and The Cranberries.

The upcoming album will consist of Zombie and Heart of Glass performed by the rock bands in recent concerts. Cyrus took social media to reveal her new album, which will be released after three long years.

Although the singer has released, She Is Coming in 2019 that included a six-song EP. Originally, Cyrus wanted to launch three EPs that would help her to release the seventh album. However, the star explained in a statement as to why this plan didn't work out.

Firstly, she said how much she appreciates all her fans for showing immense support towards her work and she has the deepest level of love for them. She went on to explain that she started working on this album in 2018 and when she thought that work is almost done, it all got "erased."

She revealed that everything has changed since then, as she believes it was difficult to let go of that work. However, nature helped her to destroy that work. She addressed how she lost her house because of fire and eventually left with only ashes.

Cyrus referred to the house she used to share with her ex Liam Hemsworth in California. The singer settled her divorce with the 30-year-old actor in 2019. The couple separated after one year of their wedding.

However, The Night Before star revealed that her collaborators still have the majority of work that came under fire in computer hard drives and journals. Moreover, she said that it didn't felt the right thing to do by releasing that unfinished tracks. She explained that each song was in continuity with others, as it was based on her autobiography.
