With Election Day just around the corner, Joe Biden realizes that President Donald Trump will be leaving no stone unturned in a bid to win the impending election. The Democratic presidential nominee even warned campaign donors that the POTUS would not shy away from throwing everything, except the kitchen sink at him, during the remaining 19 days before the presidential election.

Aside from that, Biden told attendees that Trump and his aides would be directing more lies and distortion at him. The former veep was speaking a day after The New York Post published a series of articles that suggest he had met with a Ukrainian energy executive at the instructions of his son Hunter Biden, who was a board member of the executive’s company, Burisma.

According to The New York Post, the meeting came several months before Biden, who served as the vice president at the time, pressured Ukraine government officials to fire a prosecutor who was allegedly investigating Burisma. The report about the prosecutor carrying out such an investigation at the time has proved to be false.

Without directly referring to the Post’s report at Thursday’s event, Biden referred to misinformation about him. He told the fundraising attendees that he realizes these are anxious times, adding that he appreciates everything they are doing for the campaign, CNBC reported.

He went on to point out that they have only 19 days before Election Day and warned them that Trump would be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him. Biden then noted that his supporters, including the attendees, had placed him in a position where he can respond in real-time in a way that they can compete.

Biden and a leading Democratic fundraising site have managed to outraise a Republican site in the recently concluded financial quarter, increasing trouble for the president, who is trailing Biden in national polls. Biden has denied allegations about discussing his son Hunter’s work for Burisma, while his campaign has said there is no evidence of the purported meeting.

Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani allegedly gave the Post a copy of the computer hard drive that was supposedly owned by Hunter Biden, which also became the basis for the newspaper's report. A lawyer for Hunter Biden, George Mesires, released a statement claiming they have no idea where this came from, adding that they can't credit anything Giuliani gave to the NY Post. However, they are certain that the purported meeting never took place.
