Queen Elizabeth allegedly asked Prince Charles to divorce Camilla Parker Bowles since their marriage is reportedly illegitimate.

Earlier this month, Globe claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall have agreed to end their marriage after learning that it was illegal.

A source told the tabloid that the royal couple violated a 19th-century law that states that the heir to the throne should tie the knot in a Church of England ceremony.

The ruling reportedly came just two weeks after the Queen ordered Prince Charles to divorce his wife. The source claimed that Prince Charles was thrilled with the ruling because he must no longer shoulder an expensive divorce settlement.

According to the source, Prince Charles is also wary of Camilla’s vindictive character but he decided to not tip the news to the media for fear that he would be sent to jail.

However, the claims made by the tabloid should be taken with a grain of salt, according to Gossip Cop.

Prince Charles and Camilla are not getting a divorce. The Queen didn’t also rule the royal couple’s marriage as illegal.

In fact, she gave Prince Charles and Camilla her blessing to tie the knot in a civil ceremony in 2005.

The Parliament also affirmed the legality of Prince Charles and Camilla’s marriage since the law being mentioned by the tabloid had been repealed in 1953.

Prince Charles and Camilla are still happily married to each other. In fact, their relationship is one of the success stories within the royal family.

In the 1970s, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall started dating. However, their relationship was cut short after Prince Charles fulfilled his official duties.

While he was away, Camilla started dating Andrew Parker Bowles. At one point, she wrote a letter to Prince Charles saying that she and her then-boyfriend were planning to tie the knot.

Prince Charles was reportedly devastated to hear the news about Camilla and Andrew’s wedding. However, he wasn’t able to do anything about it.

Following his return to London, Prince Charles and Camilla reunited. The Duchess of Cornwall encouraged the heir to the throne to date Princess Diana.

Camilla reportedly thought that Princess Diana was not a competition. Unfortunately, her relationship with Prince Charles ended with her walking down the aisle.

After tying the knot in 1981, Prince Charles and Princess Diana stayed together for the sake of their sons. However, it is known that Prince Charles always had feelings for Camilla.
