Chris Rock is widely known for a variety of things, but in the United States, he is also known for correctly predicting Donald Trump’s victory four years back in the 2016 presidential election. Before the 2016 presidential election, while the nation was expecting a big loss for Trump, Chris Rock told media that Trump was going to win over Hillary Clinton in a big way.  It doesn’t mean he wanted that to happen, as a matter of fact, Rock wanted a different government but he just saw situations unfolding that way.

During his appearance on However, this time it’s an altogether different story. The comic thinks Trump fever is now over – and victory for the next term is a far cry for the President.

On Thursday, Rock appeared as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Discussing politics with Ellen, Rock told her that Trump may be gone out of the office this time labeling such happening as a favorable outcome.

Rock shed light on the entire situation in a legit comic way that Ellen could easily relate to.

He said, "We're both comedians, right? And we know that energy kind of always wins. And outside of [Mick] Jagger, he's got the most energy of a 75-year-old guy on stage. But, but, just like in the comedy clubs, the energy works for a short while. And then audience eventually realizes 'Wow, that guy had energy — but I don't remember any of his jokes.'"

Rock will be back on screen this weekend as the host of the newest season of Saturday Night Live. Jim Carrey will play Joe Biden for the cold opening debate sketch opposite Alec Baldwin's Trump. As he talked about the season premiere, he told DeGeneres that he and Carrey watched the entire debate together to get a good idea of what the incumbents are really like. Rock was totally amazed by Carrey's incredible ability to snap into both Biden and Trump while also copying the style of Hollywood vet Clint Eastwood.

The Saturday Night Live was in jeopardy due to coronavirus restrictions – as the productions of multiple projects resumed in the industry, the contributors of SNL saw it as a green light to go. Within no time, the newest season was confirmed and it’s airing at the right hour as it’ll allow people to understand the landscape a little better.

It'll be great to experience Rock's similar humor on stage.
