Prince Harry was recently slammed for seemingly agreeing with everything that Meghan Markle wants.

Last week, the couple made headlines after they released a statement about the upcoming elections. Even though Prince Harry and Markle didn’t reveal the name of the candidate they were supporting, it seemed evident that they are backing Joe Biden.

While speaking on talkRADIO, royal commentators Dan Wootton and Dawn Neesom reacted to the comments that Prince Harry made.

“I say that for the moment Prince Harry remains the obedient, nodding wannabe first man. He is chipping in on Meghan Markle's pet projects with perfectly scripted woke-ism British princely charm. But what happens when Prince Harry actually stands up to Meghan for the first time? What happens when Harry says no Meghan, I am actually going to put the sanctity of the institution that I was brought up in first? I actually shudder to think what would happen because I can't imagine Meghan would take it very well,” Wootton said.

Neesom replied by saying that she doesn’t think Prince Harry would stand up to Markle on the issue of becoming too political. After all, the Duke of Sussex is, allegedly, the very definition of a henpecked husband.

"I never wanted to say this and I wanted to think it was six of one and half a dozen of the other,” she said.

Wootton replied by saying that he thinks Prince Harry and Markle are as bad as each other.

During their recent statement, Markle said that the upcoming elections are the most important election of their lives.

“Every four years, we are told the same thing, that this is the most important election of our life but this one is. When we vote our values are put into action and our voices are heard,” she said.

“This election, I am not going to be able to vote in the US. But many of you may not know I have not been able to vote in the UK my entire life. As we approach this November it is vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity,” Prince Harry said.

As a member of the royal family, Prince Harry wasn’t allowed to share his political opinions publicly. But now that he and Markle are no longer considered as working royals, they seem free to talk about politics in the United States.
