The finale episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend is here as Chizuru’s love life’s tale witnesses a conclusion in Episode 12. The finale is titled Confession and Girlfriend.

The official website has unveiled the synopsis and trailer for Rent-a-Girlfriend Episode 12. After Chizuru hints that she is ready to quit the rental job and progress to becoming an actress, things will get tough for Kazuya.

The preview trailer shows scenes from the finale as the characters discuss the ending of the current season. It remains to be seen if fans will get a new season or if this the series finale of Rent-a-Girlfriend.

“Did you know, Mizuhara? The next episode is the last! No way. But there is nothing we can do. I know it is hard to let go, but… Want me to ask the fans and bigwigs for more? I am really good at that. No, Mami-san! There is a lot of money involved! And how would you ask for more, anyway? Isn't that obvious,? By doing a favor or two. Whoa, we are out of time! On the next episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend! Confession and Girlfriend,” reads the preview text.

In the last episode, Sumi Sakurasawa is introduced as a new rental girlfriend. She is a first-year college student who considers herself a brainiac and loves Japanese history and hates international comms. She works as a rental girlfriend and gets bookings twice a week. She explains that sometimes she is personally chosen and sometimes it is a random assignment.

She later meets Chizuru who explains that she too was nervous at first, and it takes time for people to change. However, Chizuru assures her that there are clients who will love her for who she is.

Rent-a-Girlfriend Episode 12 finale is set to hit the airwaves on Friday, Sept. 25, 2020. The episodes are available on Crunchyroll.

The screenplay of the finale episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend is by Mitsutaka Hirota. The storyboard and direction are handled by Kazuomi Koga. The animation directors for the finale instalment are Masayuki Nomoto, Kiyotaka Ida, So Kato, Yoshinori Tokiya, Yoshinori Ukulele, Hirona Hirayama and Atsuko Takahashi.
