Taichi and his comrades are ready to battle the formidable Orochimon in Digimon Adventure Episode 17. The next episode is titled The Battle in Tokyo Against Orochimon.

The official preview trailer and synopsis for Digimon Adventure Episode 17 are out teasing what happens next in Tokyo.

Twitter user Wikimon translated and shared the summary preview for Digimon Adventure Episode 17. The summary hints that Taichi and his friends believe they have defeated the Digimon named Eyesmon. However, to their utter shock, Orochimon, an eight-headed Digimon arrives before them.

Orochimon is known to be supremely powerful and even if Taichi and the others form a team and fight it, Orochimon remains undefeatable.

Taichi and his comrades have no option but to escape. In Digimon Adventure Episode 17, real Shibuya witnesses several weird occurrences and it is all due to Orochimon’s presence.  The synopsis reveals that the threat can be extremely dangerous for Hikari, Takeru and several other people in the city.

Although Yamato and Taichi are separated from their comrades, they will try to come with a plan in a desperate attempt to take down the dangerous Orochimon.

The preview trailer showcases scenes from the upcoming episodes and it is going to get intense for the heroes. Can they save the city and beat Orochimon?

“By dodging the gigantic eight heads, can Taichi and the others strike the enemy’s weakness?! Next time on Digimon Adventure: The Battle in Tokyo Against Orochimon,” reads the official preview for episode 17.

The previous episode shows Taichi and company arrive at a big city that looks like Tokyo. They are amazed to see the large buildings. Interestingly, the city has restored power.

Taichi wonders if the disaster ended already. However, they are yet to find the Holy Digimon.

Digimon Adventure Episode 17 is set to hit the airwaves on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020. The episodes currently streaming on Crunchyroll for online viewing.
