Soma manages to ignite Mana’s Gifting ability in Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12. The upcoming episode is called The Perfect Rocks.

Soma and Asahi’s battle of the Five Grand Cuisines comes to its conclusion. Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12’s official synopsis teases that similar to Asahi’s dish, Soma’s dish also trigger the Gifting ability of Mana at the BLUE venue.

It will be interesting to see who the judges pick as the winner of this round.

The new episode will see the conclusion of the round. Meanwhile, Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12 shows Azami Nakiri visiting Mana. And for the first time, fans will learn about Azami and Mana’s past.

In the last episode of the anime series, Soma declares that he will be making a dish for each of the cuisines and later cram them together to present the final dish. He shocks everyone and Asahi feels he is bound to fail in this endeavor. Soma’s classmates wonder how he will he pull this off.

Soma states that he will create an opportunity without fearing failure. He kicks starts his dish and the audience are amazed to see his skills.

However, Soma knows that he makes even a single mistake while preparing these dishes, everything will be ruined. He remembers his time with Master Shinomiya and he encouraged his cooks to give their all to make things work in the kitchen.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12 is scheduled to broadcast Friday, Sept. 18, 2020. The episodes are available online for streaming on Crunchyroll.

The script of the new episode is by Shogo Yasukawa, the storyboard and direction by Hikaru Tanaka. Yumi Nakayama, Jumondo and Kazumi Ono are the animation directors. Atsushi Komori and Ryosuke Tanigawa are the chief animation directors.
