The truth about the Joker remains a mystery. However, in Fire Force Season 2, Episode 12, the truth might be out. The upcoming instalment is called Shadows Cast by Divine Light.

The official synopsis for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 12 has been released by the makers. The synopsis states that Captain Shinmon and the Joker head to the Holy Sol Temple to find out the truth. Upon reaching the temple, they go to the heart of the facility. Later, in the episode, the past of the mysterious man Joker is revealed.

“Captain Shinmon collapses before the Holy Sol Temple combatant. Joker is stunned by this. What they seek is an even deeper mystery within the Holy Sol Temple,” reads the preview of the new episode.

In the last episode of Fire Force Season 2, there are speculations that the Evangelist and the Holy Sol temple might be connected. Meanwhile, Shinra, Arthur and Tamaki are congratulated for their excellent work during the mission. The chief tells them that he will inform the top brass about the results of their investigation.

Meanwhile, Iris thinks that the country is built on one person’s sacrifice. People’s faith is shaken and Shinra vows to find the truth, for the sake of the sister and other devout believers.

During the episode, a dark hero introduces himself and offers to investigate the Holy Sol Temple.

Meanwhile, Licht continues to wonder what is right and what is wrong. He immerses himself in fiding the truth behind the scriptures and the Holy Sol Temple.

Later, the mysterious dark hero meets Licht and offers his help. In the meantime, Shinra is upset that they cannot go public with their report as it is likely to disturb the citizens.

Watch Fire Force Season 2, Episode 12 online via live streaming on Crunchyroll. The episode is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020.
