Hollywood has been in a standstill when the Corona Virus pandemic started. All of the movies that were in the process of filming were halted due to the risk it posed for the production staff and the actors.

As a safety measure, Hollywood executives had to take the right path and stop all of the movie and TV show production. One shocking headline that rocked the celebrity world was Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s revelation that he was COVID 19 positive.

The wrestler turned actor announced via his Instagram that he tested positive for COVID19 last Sept. 12, including his entire family, his wife, singer and music producer Lauren Hashian and his two younger daughters, Jasmine, and Tiana tested positive as well.

In the caption on his lengthy 12-minute Instagram post, The Rock stated that he was more worried about his family having the virus than he was of him going through it. The Rock, who is currently working on a Netflix Original movie, ‘The Red Notice’, had to take a break from filming, prompting the production team to put the filming on hold.

Dwayne’s full recovery was announced today, with the producer of ‘The Red Notice’, Dany Garcia revealing that the production of the movie has resumed. According to Dany Garcia, they are taking all the necessary steps to make sure that everyone on the set is safe.

Garcia, who is the brother of Dwayne’s ex-wife also revealed that Netflix has been extremely supportive of the proper measure being taken. “It’s been an incredible process and undertaking to get a production up-and-running. Netflix has had the attitude that whatever it will take to keep things safe for the crew, they are 100% behind, so we re-adjusted what we needed to,” Garcia said.

Dwayne Johnson is known to his colleagues as an extreme family man, and it is understandable that Johnson was extremely cautious of the film resuming.

It was said to be that Dwayne and his wife had a stronger strain, leaving them feeling very sick during their quarantine. His kids, thankfully, had the milder strain only.

In a recent post by Dwayne Johnson on his Instagram, it showed a much healthier ad happier The Rock. Garcia has also revealed that they have already filmed half the movie before the pandemic and that the filming for ‘The Red Notice’ will wrap up in November.

No release date on Netflix has been revealed yet by Garcia.
