Meghan Markle, reportedly, has huge plans for Netflix.

After signing a multiyear deal with the streaming platform, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are thinking of producing shows that are meant to inspire their viewers.

According to Woman’s Day, one of Markle’s plans is to produce a lifestyle version of her former blog, The Tig.

“Meghan knows Netflix will want personal and light-hearted with her on camera. So, she’s planning on making a TV version of her old lifestyle website, The Tig, where she’ll wax lyrical about style, home décor, parenting, and baking,” the source said.

Markle, who is a feminist, will also, reportedly, produce a docuseries on women’s issues, starting with the menstrual health in India.

But there’s one rumored project that doesn’t seem to align with the couple’s goals of inspiring their viewers. The tabloid claimed that Markle would also want to release a miniseries on Prince Andrew.

Netflix already dropped a documentary about the late Jeffrey Epstein. And Markle, allegedly, wants to take off from there, by focusing on the Duke of York.

“Meghan’s access to Prince Andrew behind the scenes makes her ideally placed to helm a follow-up to Netflix’s harrowing Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich miniseries, but this time with a focus on her disgraced uncle-in-law,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. While it is possible for Markle to produce shows centered on lifestyle and feminism, nothing has been confirmed as of late.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just signed a deal with Netflix, but they have yet to unveil their list of programs. Heads from the streaming platform teased the couple’s upcoming projects by saying that they will be released starting 2021.

Additionally, Prince Harry and Markle’s shows will, reportedly, be some of Netflix’s biggest programs.

But while their fans are awaiting the release of their upcoming shows, there are reports claiming that the members of the royal family aren’t pleased with the deal.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, royal author Katie Nicholl said that the move raised eyebrows within the British clan.

“There are some members of the institution who are concerned that the couple is going to cash in on their royal connections. They might be under pressure from Netflix to stray into the upper territory but sources close to the couple tell me that they are very adamant that anything and everything that they do is very much going to be in a respectful tone to the Queen, the monarchy, and very much on their missions,” she said.
