Since Meghan Markle’s introduction into the royal family, tons of controversies have made headlines – especially ones in regards to her acceptance into the royal family and her own perception of the royal life.

According to a close friend of Meghan’s, the Duchess of Sussex told her that she had left her everything for the royal family but she wasn’t happy with what came up afterward and that she wasn’t very happy with her royal life.

After some 2 years of her wedding with Prince Harry, Britons have taken aim at the Duchess of Sussex regarding her royal status.

Meghan Markle celebrated the first anniversary of her clothing collection with Smart Works. Smart Works pours in efforts to train and dress unemployed women to get them ready for interviews. The Duchess’ own clothing brand was launched in September of last year in the favor of charity.

She participated in a group video chat alongside three women who were helped by the charity. All and everything went except her use of the royal title. Readers are furious that Meghan is still sticking to the royal title even after cutting ties with the royal family and regimes. They expressed their disapproval of the Duchess on the Daily Express Facebook page.

The fuming comments suggested that people are no longer considering her to be the ‘Duchess of Sussex.’ One of the girls commented that she was from Sussex and Meghan is not her Duchess.

Hundreds of comments combined point towards one whole message that - the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in the pursuit of a quiet, private, and free life, but they don’t seem to get over the fact that they have stepped down from their senior royal roles and are no longer entitled to the royal titles.

Many users mocked at the Duchess of Sussex on Twitter, “I thought they wanted a quiet life.”

Queen Elizabeth had barred the Sussex pair from using the royal titles after they left the royal family into the crisis period by dropping the sudden bombs of their disinterest in the royal business and departure from the royal premises.

The Duke and Duchess followed the order and even changed the title of their charity. However, as a matter of fact, the law applies to only the English land, so they wrote on their website that they can still legally make use of their royal titles. Therefore, it's not much of a factor as it's being made.
