Parents all around the world have been worried sick about the academic development of their children due to the pandemic-led shutter of schools and colleges. In this regard, the royal parents are no different. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also troubled by the discontinuation of effective education in the country.

However, it seems the troubled days for parents are eventually over. During an interaction in Belfast earlier this week, Prince William joked a little about the experience and freely expressed his relief about Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s recent return to school.

The Prince said that he thinks parents everywhere are delighted that the schools have started again and their kids are heading back to school. As per Hello magazine, William further said that those [lockdown period months] were “wonderful” five months, but felt very long.

Throughout the lockdown, both Prince William and Kate Middleton discussed the struggles of pandemic life openly.

In conversation with BBC earlier this April, Kate shed light on how they were keeping up with the newly-found living norms with their little children.

The Duchess said the children carry an unparalleled “stamina” to do things that always gets them excited about any sort of a situation.  She further said that there have been “ups and downs” during this period because families are self-isolating which isn’t what they are used to do.

She also talked a little about her children saying that there is much of an age gap between George and Louis but they both are aware of what is right the right thing to do. And as a parent, she doesn’t want to make it too overwhelming for them or scare them about the ongoing situation. Aside from that, the Duchess also highlighted the importance of acknowledging the cruciality of the situation in simpler ways.

About the family essence, the Duchess said, "You pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day—they've had a lovely time" and what's amazing to know is how much of adventure one can fit into a day.

Since two of Kate’s three children, George and Charlotte have rebegun attending classes, she and Prince William are a lot "less overwhelmed." Prince Louis is still too little to for school, but he may start playgroup classes in the next year.
