Princess Diana’s former royal butler, Paul Burrell recently detailed the late royal's romance with Dr. Hasnat Khan.

While speaking with Closer, Burrell revealed that he helped Princess Diana sneak Khan into Kensington Palace.

Khan would, reportedly, hop into the backseat of Burrell’s car, and the doctor would cover himself with a blanket. In order for them to be able to get into Kensington Palace, Burrell would flash the lights of his car so that the guards would let him pass.

“I was never caught delivering my special cargo,” he said.

While inside the palace, Princess Diana and Khan to keep a low profile so that the other royals wouldn’t know about their affair. However, this didn’t stop them from speculating.

According to Burrell, there was a time wherein he caught Princess Margaret spying on Princess Diana. And when the Princess of Wales found out about it, she said good night to Queen Elizabeth’s sister so she’d know that she’s aware that she’s spying on her.

During the late royal’s conversation with Burrell, she, reportedly, gushed about Khan.

“She told me, He smiled and stared straight at me, into my soul, and I knew he was the one… my Mr. Wonderful,’” she said.

Shortly after their first meeting, Princess Diana and Khan started dating each other quietly. However, the conflicts in their relationship didn’t take very long to surface. After all, Princess Diana was the mother of the future king and Khan was a Muslim commoner.

Following Princess Diana’s 36th birthday, her relationship with Khan ended. And soon after, the Princess of Wales started dating Dodi Al-Fayed.

According to sources, Al-Fayed was Princess Diana’s rebound and she wasn’t really in love with him. The Princess of Wales was just so heartbroken over her split from Khan that’s why he wanted to show her that she was happy.

Princess Diana and Al-Fayed traveled to France for a quick getaway. However, they never made it home alive. They died in a tragic car crash in 1997.

Following the mom of two’s death, rumors swirled that the royal family had Princess Diana killed. After all, she seemed ready to expose more dirt on the British clan.

Until today, there are still claims that Prince Charles and the queen may know something about Princess Diana’s death. However, these claims remain to be nothing more than rumors.
