Princess Diana, reportedly, made a cryptic statement three days before her death that left royal fans wondering what she really meant.

In the book Charles – The Man Who Will Be King, author Howard Hodgson talked about Princess Diana’s final vacation with her sons in St. Tropez, on the French Riviera.

While there, the paparazzi hounded the Princess of Wales, Prince William, and Prince Harry that she decided to take matters into her own hands.

“Three days after her arrival and for reasons best known to the Princess, she decided to take matters into her own hands and approach the press. She jumped into a small motorboat and made for the media boats stationed some way away,” Hodgson said.

Princess Diana, reportedly, gave an impromptu press conference at sea, where she told the paparazzi that Prince William and Prince Harry have been encouraging her to live abroad. This way, she could be in the public eye less and less.

The late royal revealed that she is considering her sons’ suggestions even though she knows that she has a role to play in the royal family and in the United Kingdom. But at the end of the day, her main priority is to protect her sons.

But it is what Princess Diana’s next words that left royal fans wondering what she really meant.

“But you are going to get a big surprise with the next thing I do,” she said.

Even Hodgson wondered what the Princess of Wales was trying to say. Unfortunately, no one would know because Princess Diana passed away in a tragic car crash in Paris a few days later.

Following her untimely passing, rumors swirled that Prince Charles, Camilla, and the other members of the royal family had her killed. In fact, until today, some tabloids have been saying that Prince Charles has been keeping his murder plot a secret all these years.

This week, Globe claimed that Prince William and Prince Harry had Princess Diana’s body exhumed the second time around because they want to know what really happened to their late mother.

The tabloid also blamed Meghan Markle for encouraging Prince Harry to find out the truth about her late mother-in-law. However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt.

Prince William and Prince Harry didn’t have their mom’s body exhumed. And they don’t also think that Prince Charles killed the Princess of Wales.
