What was supposed to be a serious public service announcement delivered by Kim Kardashian turned hilarious instead as her daughter, North West, made a surprise and hilarious appearance in the video.

As reported by Cosmopolitan, Kardashian was filming a social distancing public service announcement for the Twitter account of California Governor Gavin Newsom. Right at the beginning of her video, North West made a cute appearance by adding “And North West” to the reality star’s introduction.

Throughout the video, West made inadvertent jabs at her mother. As Kardashian talked about how the beautiful weather in California should not lure people out of their homes, West remarked off-screen that she “wanted out.”

Elle adds that West even made a particularly scathing remark at her mother at one point in the video. While Kardashian asked in the video for people to check in on their family and friends, West responds that what Kardashian should be doing was be busier with her kids rather than her friends. Kardashian could only respond by saying “Facts.”

That said, these humorous exchanges with her daughter might be preferable for Kardashian than some of the online reactions she’s been getting lately.

The reality star/beauty mogul recently got flak from netizens during the launch of her latest fragrance, KKWxKRIS, with people calling her “shameless,” “tone-deaf,” and criticized for her “love of money.” The negative reception supposedly spurred her to donate some of the proceeds from the perfume to the organization Blessings in a Backpack, which works to help children left hungry by the school closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Kardashian had also recently found her feud with Taylor Swift reignited after a leaked 25-minute long video seemed to prove that Swift was the one telling the truth during their 2016 feud about Kanye West’s song, “Famous.” Kardashian alleged that the singer was “self-serving.

Whether she is feuding or not, the public service announcement filmed by Kardashian definitely needs to be followed, as coronavirus cases continue to rise. According to the World Health Organization situation report for Apr. 14, the world now has  1,844,863 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 71,779 of those being new cases. There are now 117,021 people who have died from the disease, with new deaths at 5,369.

Meanwhile, the Apr. 14 update from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention puts the number of confirmed cases in the United States at 579,005 people. The number of coronavirus fatalities is at 22,252 people.
