Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian-West are feuding once again after a leaked 25-minute long video seems to prove that Taylor Swift was right all along with regards to her claims about the 2016 Kanye West song, “Famous."

Back in 2016, the feud between Swift and, West and Kardashian, was all everyone could talk about. As CNN recounts, the feud began when Kardashian released a video on Snapchat, apparently, showing Swift agreeing to the lyrics to “Famous," which goes: “To all my southside n****s that know me best/I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous.”

The video snippet proved disastrous for Swift, as it resulted in people branding her a “snake” on social media and making her withdraw momentarily from the spotlight before releasing her album, “Reputation”.

“Reputation” went on to become one of the most successful albums of 2017, selling 4.5 million copies globally. During one of the stops for the “Reputation” tour, Time recalls Swift talking about the “Taylor Swift is a snake” movement, saying that it made her go through “some really low times.”

In the new leaked video, it looked like West was trying to persuade Swift to tweet about his song to her followers. Swift said she will “think about it” and did not explicitly agree with the lyrics.

Swift reacted to the video on Instagram by providing a link to the donation page for Feeding America, which the songstress says she has been supporting during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Kardashian responded with a nine-tweet rant, claiming that Swift was reigniting an “old exchange” and that the singer was being “self-serving.” The reality star maintained that Swift was not telling the entire truth about their conversation in the statement that she released. Kardashian claimed that she and her husband were telling the truth when they said they called Swift to ask for permission before releasing the song.

While Swift, herself, has not responded to Kardashian’s tweets, her publicist Tree Paine tweeted out a response, saying that Kanye did not call for approval and was merely asking Swift to release his new single on her Twitter account. She claimed that Swift was never made aware of the lyric “I made that bitch famous.” Paine also took a jab at Kardashian by saying that the statement was her “UNEDITED original statement.”
