John Travolta had a lunch date with his daughter and a bunch of friends including Tommy Lee. The 66-year-old actor and his 20-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu was also accompanied by Brittany Furlan, Lee's wife who celebrated her birthday.

Furlan and Lee planned a huge celebration at lunch with Travolta's family where Furlan's friends, Daniella Beckerman and Mikaela Hoover along with Lee's son, Brandon also marked their attendance. Travolta shared on his Instagram about the family and friends gathering.

He revealed that the private event took place outdoors in the dining area of the patio while the COVID-19 safety precautions were taken. The Saturday Night Fever star also shared a picture of the families enjoying lunch together and captioned it as "Love lunch" on social media.

The 34-year-old internet personality took her Instagram story to further reveal the celebration day of her birthday. The Los Angeles based star shared various pictures of having a blast as she enjoyed the meal.

She referred everyone on the table as her "favorite people" and Travolta also took the opportunity to wish the star birthday on social media. It was the first post by the actor following Kelly Preston's demise. In the last video that Travolta shared on his Instagram was him dancing with his daughter in honor of his late wife.

Travolta lost his wife on July 12 at the age of 57 after she fought breast cancer. Since her death, many Hollywood stars mourned her death. The actor wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram after his wife's death.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many," he wrote. He thanked all the doctors and nurses who took care of his wife at MD Anderson Cancer Center along with the medical centers that came forward to help.

He also noted the close friends and people who stood with him in such a difficult time. He revealed that he will be spending some quality time with his kids as they lost their mom. He asked his fans to forgive him in advance in case he is unavailable for a while. However, he appreciated the comments and messages he received from fans across the globe. Travolta's social media was flooded with condolences from several big names in Hollywood.
