The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not restricted by the responsibilities and code of living set by the royal family. The Sussex family swapped the United Kingdom for Los Angeles, looking for liberty and privacy and they may have gotten it eventually.

The royal biography Finding Freedom, co-authored by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand explores tons of bits of the royal family from the stance of the Sussexes.

The chapters in the book discuss in detail what led to their departure from the royal premises, what they were seeking, and how the condition is different right now.

The co-author Omid Scobie has extended the chapter given in the book. As the book title suggests, the pair was 'finding freedom,' and now is the time they are living their dream. According to Scobie, the royal pair is finally living the life they have been wanting to have for a long time.

Since the Sussexes moved to the United States, they have been on a run of progress. The royal pair bought a new house in Santa Barabara LA, celebrated their son Archie’s birthday, and eventually attained financial security with their big Netflix deal.

Speaking on his podcast Heirpod, Scobie talked about how the Sussexes achieved their kind of lifestyle.

According to what Scobie has to say, the freedom to act was the Sussexes’ major motive behind making a move to the US. The couple took their philanthropies to a whole another level after they left the royal house.

Comparing two different situations in their lifestyle, Scobie said:

"It shows how much they were held back by tradition, hierarchy and stubbornness within the institution. It was that, and the things that we often celebrate about Meghan internally just didn't fit in with the way things were done in the institution. This is the couple operating in a way they were desperate to for some time but couldn't for a number of reasons, many of which tie into what is considered too politically sensitive or not."

Considering how the Sussexes have been advancing in their lives, all the details and views that the Finding Freedom author has shared seem true to some extent.

The Sussexes seem way more content and happier than their time in the royal family. The investments they have made in the US are an indication that they don’t intend to go back to the UK anytime soon.
