Soma is moving up steadily and is set to face a formidable opponent in Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 10. Meanwhile, Erina thinks Asahi Saiba should win the competition.

He is ready to go up against his arch-nemesis, Asahi in the upcoming battle. Meanwhile, Erina’s concern toward her mother makes her believe that Asahi should win the competition.

Erina thinks it will be in the best interest of everyone if Asahi wins and Soma loses. She thinks the secret of the members of God’s Tongue is the reason for her doubt.

In the meantime, Joichiro heads back to Japan and tells Dojima how he met Soma’s mother and came to be involved with Asahi. It will be interesting to see how Soma reacts when he learns about this.

Soma is at an important juncture in his journey in BLUE Cooking Tournament. One of the spoilers stills shows confident Soma. Another still shows a dejected Erina, it might be after meeting her mother, who also happens to the WGO Bookmaster.
