Misunderstandings and lies will rule Rent-a-Girlfriend Episode 9. All’s not well between Kazuya Kinoshita and Chizuru Mizuhara. The new episode is titled Lies and Girlfriend.

The official preview trailer for Rent-a-Girlfriend Episode 9 is out. The trailer shows what happens next in the anime series between Chizuru and Kazuya.

In the last episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend, Ruka offers Kazuya a deal and on Chizuru’s order, he finds himself dating Ruka on a provisional basis. In the meantime, he has stopped dating Chizuru completely.

For his arrangement with Ruka, he is allowed two phone calls per day, no leaving her on read and always like her tweets. He feels he arranged with a devil. Kazuya wonders how can Chizuru agreed to this arrangement.

Kazuya fears she might not have feelings for him. He later decides to find a way to distance himself from Ruka.

Elsewhere, Ruka surprises Kazuya in the college. He fears that if Kuri sees them together it will break his heart. He pleads to Ruka that Kuri must never find out about their arrangement.

Ruka tells her that she doesn’t think they can keep this hidden forever from their peers. She explains that since she was Kuri’s rental girlfriend, she doesn’t know if he liked her.

However, she agrees to Kazuya’s wishes and decides to stay away from the college campus. Meanwhile, she proposes that they watch a movie together as Christmas is coming up. She feels it is a perfect time for them to grow closer.

In the meantime, Chizuru is watching over Kazuya and Ruka’s action from afar. Later, Chizuru is invited to a Christmas pajama party, but she declines the offer by saying she has plans with someone.

Elsewhere, Kazuya is back in his room and dreams about spending Christmas with Chizuru. Deep down, he has feelings for her. He decides to book her for Christmas but is unable to get her slot for the day.
