An emotionally-charged episode with a possible execution is set to air this week. One Piece Episode 939 is set to showcase Straw Hats fight against time to save the person. The episode is named The Straw Hats Run! Save the Captive Tonoyasu.

The trailer for One Piece Episode 939 shows that the time for the execution of Tonoyasu is fast approaching. In the last episode, his execution was ordered after he was found guilty of killing Komurasaki.

“The time for Tonoyasu’s execution is approaching. The Straw Hats clear away unassailable guards and rush to stop the execution. Will Tonoyasu share the fate of the cherry blossoms?! The truth behind his smile will be revealed!” reads the official preview for One Piece Episode 939.
Now it is a race against time for the Straw Hats to save Tonoyasu from his certain execution. Can they save the charismatic thief from dying?

In the preview trailer, one of the final scenes shows a grim picture of Tonoyasu taking a barrage of bullets while being crucified. It remains to be seen if this is true.

In the previous One Piece episode named Shaking the Nation - The Identity of Ushimitsu Kozo The Chivalrous Thief, Yasui, who is also known as Tonoyasu, is tortured and prepared for his execution.

Meanwhile, when Orochi learns that Tonoyasu is still alive he gets angry and announces that his execution will alongside Komurasaki’s funeral.

Words spread fast and Queen at the Udon labor camp finds about Komurasaki’s death and is gutted. He wants strict punishment for the culprit. Meanwhile, Luffy and Hyo ridicule Queen by getting fat.

Watch One Piece Episode 939 online via live streaming on Crunchyroll. The episode is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020. The installments are currently streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.
