Shinra and his friends are outside battling the Demon Infernal in Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9. Meanwhile, Arthur and the others are inside the facility named the Tabernacle. The episode is called The Core.

The official website of the anime has released the summary for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9. The synopsis suggests that Shinra and his team clash with demon outside the Tabernacle. In the last episode, Demon Infernal arrived at the Tabernacle in an attempt to stop Shinra, Arthur and the others from getting inside.

Soon, a battle starts between Shinra and the demon. The battle continues in Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9. However, Shinra knows that he cannot beat the demon alone. He needs massive backup. In the meantime, Arthur and the team are inside the Tabernacle and they continue to explore the facility.

They will soon reach the core of the facility and what they witness there will blow the minds of the viewers. It appears that the core is pulsing and they need to figure out what it is.

“Arthur-san and the others inside the Tabernacle arrive at last at the central core. There, they hear an eerie pulse echoing. This sound is a little bit scary. Is there something alive inside?” reads the text from the preview trailer for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9.

In the previous episode of the anime series, Shinra and others reach the Tabernacle and learn the history of the place. Meanwhile, a group of Infernals attacks them.

Arthur decides to enter the Tabernacle with a team and asks Shinra and a team to guard the entrance. Later, the Demon Infernal arrives and informs that they want to destroy the place.

Watch Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9 online via live streaming on Crunchyroll. The episode is scheduled to air on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020. The episodes are streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.
