For Meghan Markle fans who missed her pre-royal fashion, it’s a piece of good news, she is back in her LA swag. As a matter of fact, the Duchess has been quick on embracing her style from life before the regality. That is exactly what her latest appearances suggest.

In the recent pictures, the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t quite look wrapped up in glitz and glamour of the UK’s royal kind. Instead, nowadays Markle comes out in the Californian casuals that is reminiscent of her earlier time.

During her recent interaction with Gloria Steinem for the backyard chat, Meghan donned Stella McCartney Rhea sandals which is an open toe footwear style that’s isn’t regular for royal events.  Markle has also been seen wearing the kind of dresses that were never seen in her royal wardrobe.

On her appearance for Los Angeles charity Baby2Baby, the Duchess had shorts on – a  garment that is more typical of the UK and is rarely spotted within royal premises.

Styled By Susie’s director and stylist Susie Hasler  told FEMAIL that Meghan has decided to go ‘back to the real her.’

Explaining Meghan’s original style, the stylist said, “While Meghan always looked amazing when on royal engagements, with incredible gowns, and suits, it was clear she didn't feel entirely comfortable. She's now ditched the power dressing and the formal wear for casual clothes and she looks so much more comfortable.”

Susie further added that Meghan is now enjoying clothes and carrying a look that is “authentic to her.”

Since her comeback to her homeland LA, Markle has been seen wearing mostly comfortable and casual clothes such as loose t-shirts, shorts, trainers, caps, and jeans – garments that fans haven’t seen Markle in for a very long time, probably from before her royal wedding.

One more side of it is that LA is where she goes out on casual occasions more than any other place. It wouldn’t make sense if she dresses up in a royal gown to distribute supplies at a drive-through in LA.

As the Duchess in the royal castle, she wasn’t frequently going on informal events, so it answers in a way her why her style in LA is different. In fact, it’s not only LA, but her whole lifestyle has changed with the change of continent – from the UK to the USA.

Casual, informal clothes for regular occasions and sophisticated, fashionable dresses for formal occasions and gatherings. Meghan has kept it pretty well-balanced.
