So far, POTUS’ election campaigns have not been very high-yielding, at least not as much as the President wanted it to be. The bulk of his efforts have backfired and staging convention at the White House has come to attract an enormous amount of criticism from the Democratic party. Amid all the criticism and worsening image, important support was badly needed.

The Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence has got Donald Trump’s back. Pence has, in fact, begun from the get-go i.e. the blunder of the coronavirus. Pence said that Trump’s helming of the outbreak can’t be labeled as the mismanagement as he saved an “untold number of American lives” during the pandemic.

Speaking at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Pence accepted the renomination as Trump’s running mate. Starting from urging people to stay safe and heed the official’s warning about Hurricane Laura, Pence advanced to talk about the election atmosphere.

The Vice President took a direct aim at the presidential candidate and Trump’s opponent Joe Biden. Criticizing Biden's verdict of the coronavirus situation, Pence said, “What Joe doesn’t seem to understand is that America is a nation of miracles and we’re on track to have the world’s first safe, effective coronavirus vaccine by the end of this year.” The Vice President further bluntly added to say, “The hard truth is, you won’t be safe in Joe Biden’s America.”

In contrast to Pence, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci has said that the Vice President is nothing but “cautiously optimistic” about the availability of vaccine by the end of this year or early 2021.

In Pence’s defense, Trump is pacing up to make America the first country to have a sufficient supply of vaccine. Trump has struck deals with Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, and other leading drugmakers in a bid to secure Americans from the virus and get American lives back on track.

Last week, the POTUS announced that the U.S. government will purchase 100 million doses of Moderna’s experimental coronavirus vaccine. Considering Trump’s commitment and pace, Pence’s predictions may possibly come true.

Pence said that Biden’s proposed policies would take the nation away from capitalism and that voters are not deciding between conservative and liberal policies. According to the Vice President, the most important thing to consider is how America can remain America.

Most importantly, Pence assured Baltimore people that if Trump is re-elected, he will “Make America Great Again.”
